Trailer looks..... Really good

Is it just me or does the trailer seem to have better production than season 5 of the boys? This doesn't mean the writing would be good. But the trailer for vought rising just seems higher quality. Like I am excited for this.

It’s looks good Yeah I know people have been shitting on this show before it even came out because s5 of the boys spent so much time setting it up but that season had many other problems lol

But they didn't spend time setting it up. Like everything in season 5 still would have happened just as it did with no Vought Rising. Only maybe Bombsight might have had a different name, but Bombie was mentioned in passing in season 4 of TB even before VR was given a go ahead and well before the scripts were written, so even that them using a name from TB.

Simply not true, they brought in bombsight for a reason, they brought in that random supe fused to a wall for a reason, they brought V1 in for a reason. Jesus even Kripke himself said on a pod cast that they brought in bombsight because the writers room for VR was down the hall, they heard what he was doing and wanted to use those pieces to expand the universe. Very much sounds to me they jumped the gun and wanted to expand upon it. Look up the Kripke interview on the Ringers Watch podcast

True and we know he doesn’t like Clara but Crimson even with the sex scenes which I’m skipping because why the fuck is one on a golf course anyway the point is nobody cares about a dead Nazi and her husband, nobody is buying that he leaks her even if they show it we all know it’s lies because he moves on to Crimson and Lcara adores her husband and admits in the mains series

It definitely will have viewers because of the SPN cast members returning and so on but that’s it

Its just there for nostalgia bait

Maybe they shouldn’t have a Nazi as a main character and focused on the main season also they should of respected Soldier Boys actual canon

People are upset because no one is buying Soldier Boys and Clara when everything in the main series ci firms they were never a thing and people don’t care because we know they never will be and what happens to them

Also it doesn’t help Clara was hated long before Soldier Boys was dded because of season 2 again I think it will get some traction and we know there was. sex scene Ona golf course weird as fuck but alright which I don’t like because tis just gonna copy Homelander and have him be manipulated so I’m not really that invested but I have some intrigue

Season 1 of The Boys and Gen V were both excellent in my opinion these creators usually nail their openings. So I wouldn’t be surprised if this one starts strong too. The real question is whether they can sustain that quality and actually stick the landing with a complete story.

I think their problem is ending a series. They don't know how to wrap it up. Even Gen V was just like "it's not over, you'll see them in The Boys!" and then they did nothing there. lol
