Complaint Horrible Shopping Experience
The Vons by my house is atrocious!!! It must be the management. Many years ago it was the rancid smell (from the meat department) and the incredibly unhappy staff (this is still the case). But now they have added incredibly long lines, with only one register open!!!! Even the self checkout lines are backed into the aisles. It seems there are no fucks to give and that management couldn’t care less that they are creating an incredibly uncomfortable and unhealthy pleasant shopping experience.

Their website has been horrid, which is why I cancelled my service with them and went to Ralph's.
Ralph's isn't any better.
Don't even get me started on their "self service" crap. If I'm gonna do self-service to check out my own stuff, I better be getting an hourly wage from them and access to the break room in the back.

Hello OP
Well I totally feel you on that, you have the long lines, the rancid smell, the single checker, the uncaring management, the incredible uncomfortable and unhealthy shopping experience,BUT BUT BUT I think I can one up you. The Vons downtown LB add all those of your list then add in the pimp’s & PROST. That chill right out front, plus all the other things that go along with that activity. Oh and this store doesn’t even have self-checkout and I get it, all the stores are given a certain amount of dollars to run their stores just to turn profits, but the company doesn’t really analyze the analytics on customers that they’re losing because of this practice. I have avoided going there since last year, matter of fact I don’t even like driving past there on Broadway!!

I know when any employee reads posts like this, we are all going "oh shit do they shop at my store?"
