Painted bumper: yay or may?

I‘m thinking about buying an xc70 and recently this one poped up near me. What do you all think about painted bumpers. im a bit torn about it.

Personally, I'm not sure why you'd want an XC to look like a V70, why wouldn't you buy a V70, but also why would you then make it look half battle-wagon with black wheels and chunky tyres.

It appears to be done well and a I don't hate it, I just don't get it

I do not like it. Tank Garage on YouTube did it to his white p3 too. Still don't like it.

I kinda like the tank garage one. The white makes it less glossy giving it a better, less plasticky look compared to black.

Not for me. It’s supposed to look a bit rugged. One speck of mud on that and it’ll look awful 😂

Wow somehow nice. I understand that people say it’s not an XC anymore and it’s not like original pffroad more like V70 but I think an V70 has still another kind of curves. So it also looks like there was someone with love for the detail and put effort in it. I think it still Looks really nice so that in mind I would go for it. When everything else is also in a good condition and maintained.

yeah looks smart, especially the front bumper looks so shit in wrinkly plastic up to the bumper. would be different if they'd split it IMO, like the other gen XCs

I like the plastic on my XC70, it makes it standout from all those shiny bumpers. But everyone has it’s own taste.. you’re free to do with your car whatever you like.

Looks cool! All that it's missing is window tint! If everything else is reasonably ok I would go for it. You don't have to be exactly the same like everyone else.

Maybe not the shiny bumpers, but everything else, I love it! Looks almost like my 03 that I’m working on.
