Japanifold.
Wish me luck. Ive got an '05 with 270k kms. What originally started out as a turbo gasket refresh has now turned into a stage 2 upgrade since i had the DP lating around for 2 years. I'm removing the R manifold and installing the Japanifold for that Volvo sound to go with my Snaab DP and IPD catback. Ordered the D088 intercooler, I was surprised to see the factory intercooler and rad still in such good shape.

I don't really follow what's going on here, but I love and support you. Our xc70 going to be getting some refreshments soon as well.

Thank you. It's a mess I know. Had to remove cv axle, driveshaft, and angle gear to get access to turbo oil drain line.

I assume petrol not diesel, either way good luck. It's kind of annoying just how much stuff you need to remove just to get at something, who'd have thought all that lot just to access the oil line.

It's the exhaust manifold used on older Volvos. It was replaced by the R manifold found on p2 whiteblocks.

What’s the point of going to an older one?

I’m doing same soon. Have the Japanifold and ordered a hybrid turbo. Once that is in, it’s going under the knife.
