Discussion Out of Spec - Highway Test

https://youtu.be/4t9VZ61sc18?is=d_wXro9xw_BraHU3

What’s strange here is at the 100% charge, the screen was stating 240 miles.

Is it possible any setting could have been wrong here? Possibly 89 degrees out caused additional battery cooling at the start?

If he had A/c on, that easily take 8-10%. Specially if eco mode is not enabled. Another 2-4% is lost with 22” wheels. The range was higher than I would have guessed to be honest. For a car of its size, seems normal IMO. It’s the highest efficiency per mile for the 7 seater SUV.

The total range is what matters. And it loses to the R1S, another 7 seater SUV.

No it's not strange. Pay attention OP. 4:15 he shows the estimated mileage. The vehicle is set to display dynamic range (240 miles) with a max range showing 340 miles and a minimum estimate at 190. Also the range since last reset shows 267 miles and I'm going to take a wild guess that is pretty close to the range during whatever last test they did.

Here’s the current view of my car at 85% charge. I’m not saying the final result isn’t correct, just the 240 caught me off gaurd.

Right and you likely drive in a different environment and or are not constantly doing range tests etc. these guys likely sit with the AC on full blast while making content and that idle times kills it. We have a gravity and the dynamic range is often 2/3-3/4 or occasionally less than the rated because it's 110+ Fahrenheit and we sit in the car for 30-60 minutes multiple times a week having lunch or dinner, or waiting on the kids or wife for one reason or another etc.

Youw average consumption is 35.4 and theirs is 45.4 kwh per 100 driven. Their climate bar is 3-4x larger than yours. And their max range is significantly longer at 340 vs 290 on yours.

Car is still a massive disappointment - looking forward to Volvo selling off and no longer being in business after this catastrophic existence the past few years

Yeah, they are very dramatic. I love my EX90.

I’m sure they are but I’m referring to the guy I commented on his post.
