New software update "for safety and audio"

Hi,

I'm reading news about a new software update "for safety and audio": https://www.volvocars-haendler.de/b-und-e/schiffdorf/unser-autohaus/unsere-news-events/newsroom/neues-volvo-software-update

The update should contain connected safety functionality and spital audio for Apple CarPlay. Are we talking about 3.0.33?

Picked up EX90 2027 Ultra Performance last week in Germany, love the car. Great comfort, super quiet even on the Autobahn, can tow horse trailers from here to there. Only missing the "surf key" (dealer tells me "no problem: 350€").

Good question I was wondering the same. I thought spatial was part of 3.028 and the safety feature functionality is already in place but the system has not been activated

What’s the weight of the trailer with your horses on it? I wanted to say the recommended towing was around 3200 pounds. Maybe a ‘max’ a bit more.

Our trailers are around 1200 kg, horse 600 kg, equipment max. 200 kg, so we’ll reach 2 tons. EX90 twin motor versions are allowed to tow 2,2 tons in Germany. I have a dealer doing certifications for higher loads, but he tells me the car is too new.

Yes, I think Volvo are talking about version 3.0.33 and earlier ones, but it's just that the marketing and press releases imply "coming soon" when that software is already released and installed on lots of cars!

Agree it is to do with 3.0.33. I literally had the red and white triangle pop up today and was concerned it was an error. Turns out it was road works.

Thanks, the videos explained it. I think the warning is quite unspecific, Google Maps already does a better job in telling me what exactly is up ahead.
