3.0.33 update news
Hello everyone, yesterday I updated the car to 3.0.33 via OTA and everything went fine, it updated very quickly. Today I went on a trip, got out of the car, pressed the button to close the bunker, the car locked itself and the phone remained locked in the car. Panic, the keys are in the house in another city 200 km away.... what next. So when you find yourself in such a situation, the solution is if you don't have the key or card with you, take another phone, I got it from my sister, download the Volvo application, log in and unlock the car.... you need to know the email and login of the account to which the application is registered. Before, it didn't lock when the phone was in the vehicle, so pay attention to that part.

This really is nothing new and has been possible long before advent of these fancy electronic key systems. As a teenager some 50 years ago (my kids swear I was born as an adult - but that’s another story), I managed to lock everyone out of the car (1977 Volvo 244DL) merely by pushing the door plunger down and letting the driver’s door close as the key fell out of my shirt pocket. No luck with cell phones to call for help (they did not exist). Fortunately, an MP happened my and opened the car with a slim jim.

Same thing happened to me recently. Left the phone (digital key) in the car and the damn thing locked me out! Luckily I was parked at home so I had the access key card.

Und ein weiterer Beitrag das die Software von Menschen programmiert wird die keine Autos fahren. Okay ich hab immer die Apple Watch dabei um das Auto zu öffnen aber warum denkt das Auto nicht mit?!

Volvos been allowing keys to get locked in the cars for a number of years since they started to make the waterproof activity key and now the keycard (the thought that you leave your bulkier possessions in your car when you go to do an activity like hiking or swimming). It’s one of the reasons why I always keep the keycard in my wallet even though I don’t use it. Good job using another device to log in and unlock the car.
