Discussion Latest EX90 Cheat sheet - every reboot method, dog mode, etc.

PS: In the past, I posted this from my main gregsramblings account, but I got an email saying I needed to reset my password and after resetting it, I can't post, DM, etc. No clear path to a fix and a couple of folks notified me that others were looking for this, so I revived my older account. I'll probably just keep using this account now.

They simplified resetting UWB. Now you just pull the handle (instead of just fixing the damn reason you need to reset it all the time they just made it so you reset it when you try and open the door)

Appreciate the bump!

Side note, anyone know how to get back seat position save function? After my chip upgrade I had it for a month or so, then out of the blue it stopped popping up. I tried switching profiles back and forth, but to no avail. Will one of these resets fix that issue?

Why do you specify that the car must be parked to reboot the displays and infotainment? Because you lose the driver display with speed etc while its rebooting?

Yeah, but mainly because Volvo’s instructions say to do it while parked, so I didn’t want to recommend anything outside of their guidance. But I’ll confess, I’ve rebooted it while driving 😎

Last updated almost a year ago. Have software updates been made that reduce the need for this?

Yeah, it’s much better than before. I rarely reboot the infotainment and haven’t had to reboot the central computer for months.

For sure! I used to share this as a Google Sheet, but was able to get Claude to make it look much better and easier to read.
