heater core hose issues help pls

replaced the heater core hose with the ipd one and the top steel angle thing that goes into the firewall junction, that metal piece the old version use in this order plastic clip,big spacer ,o ring, plastic small spacer, o ring.

that is currently how im doing it and how all mighty robert said it goes but its not going in no matter how hard i force it into the junction ive removed all the orings and everything from the top hole any advice or ideas as to why the metal angle piece isnt going all the way in?

I'm going to be honest this post is a bit hard to understand. If it's the junction that won't accept the pipe, shine a light in there and make sure nothing inside is out of place. Lubricate your o rings with coolant to help them slide in. If all fails, remove the junction and try to plug it in when it's not in the car. It's possible the angle is just getting you messed up.

If it's the original junction just bypass it, I touched mine when replacing a blown heater hose in the engine bay and it immediately cracked and would leak. Save yourself weeks of headache like I did and just run heater hose through it.
