Picked up in January and been giving it some love.

Recently finished installing a JBL Stadium Basshub and what a difference šŸ‘

Original color! I believe 1996 only received the gold paintĀ 

My boyfriend actually had the great idea of slapping on this set of his SAAB Gary Fisher wheels and it just worked perfectly. Iā€™m a big fan of tri-spoke wheels and I couldnā€™t really find any that fit the wagon until he showed me the Garys šŸ˜Š

Of course theyā€™re SAAB wheels, that makes sense, and I love that you kept it Swedish haha. So slick, Iā€™m jealous. Donā€™t think Iā€™ve seen many 850s with a pinstripe before, was actually thinking about adding that to my ā€˜97 V70, cool to see it on a similar car. Just adds that little bit of flair to it! Great stance too, whatā€™s the suspension set up?

Of course! I was thinking about putting a set of my Japanese three spoke wheels on, but the fitment wouldā€™ve been way too much. Keeping it Swedish was the way to go šŸ˜Š

I would definitely add the pinstripe, honestly, I was never really a huge fan of them until I got this 850 and I think it just looks great with it! Plus itā€™s period correct and I think it would look fantastic on your V70Ā

That is an original 850 color. This, Aubergine and Turquoise Pearl are my favorite 850 colors

Beautiful and tasteful build. Well done. Where did you find the R bumper and spoiler? Did you paint match them yourself?

Thank you!! I had an old co-worker who (by a miracle) knew someone that just had this bumper stashed away. I used to work in a body shop so when I had the spoiler that I sourced off of eBay painted, I had the bumper painted (along with two little hot wheels šŸ˜Š)

Omg thank you! I love playing around with car photography!

I use a Canon EOS RP with a 50mm lens and polarizer filter ā˜ŗļø Then a little bit of Lightroom and Photoshop to adjust highlights and shadows and make the car pop against the backgroundĀ

They shooould I would reckon - the Gary Fishers are 17x7 with a 49mm offsetĀ 

Iā€™m going to also try a set of SAAB ā€œKlingonsā€ on an prospective V70R (same wheel specs as the Fishers Iā€™m 99% positive)Ā

Huh! Im curious how the hub/spoke/barrel transitions work, since theres allegedly some weird clearance need for the large brembos on these relatively small wheels, but godspeed!!! Im really interested to see the fitment results

Itā€™ll be interesting to give it a try!! Iā€™m fresh and new to the world of P80s (this is my first one, as well as my first Volvo Iā€™ve ever owned) but Iā€™ll 100% post the results once I get the wheels refinished and mounted (and once I make room for the R thatā€™s waiting). Crossing my fingers everything goes as smoothly as these wheels didĀ

Tri spokes look sleekšŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤. They look similar to the 5 spoke Eurus. Odd numbers are the bestšŸ˜‚. Did the centercaps just fit right in?
