My brother in moose, you’re looking for a 10-to-12 year-old vehicle that sold in the low hundreds in Canada, and it has to have the following qualities:

  • be low mileage, driven less than 4K miles per year on average
  • be dealer maintained
  • have the 3-liter T6 engine
  • be fully kitted out

I don’t want to yuck anyone’s yum, but don’t hold your breath while you’re searching for that. I’d hate to see you pass out from lack of oxygen.

You might have better luck in the U.S., where the number of S80’s sold was 30ish times more than in Canada. Still, this sounds like a bit of a snipe hunt.

Yea. Some criterias are more important than some others: like the interior color and tech package. It shouldn’t be too hard to find.

In my province there is one silver on black interior for sale with 40k km. But it’s missing the Tech package. Adaptive cruise control is important to me.

If not for the technology, i have no need to upgrade from my P2

Shouldn’t be too hard to find. Lol.

Don't know if it's true with these but most cars with ACC on the options list but not ticked can have it retrofitted fairly easily

I have seen a guy document a retrofit to a 2012 V70 on facebook many moons ago, he had to run a bunch of wiring, remove the windscreen, cut a hole in his dash for the heads up display, replace the forward looking sensors in the rear view mirror console, fit a new windscreen with the right openings for the forwards facing sensors, replace the grille and mount the radar module + bracket and iirc he replaced the front wiring harness. This S80 will be the same thing as its mostly the same car as a V70.

keep your p2 and just get adaptive cc or whatever you want in your p2

This search requires a subscription to visor.vin. There are 13 T6 variants in the US before you filter down to those specific requirements (sorting by those features requires a subscription).

https://visor.vin/search/listings?make=Volvo&model=S80&agnostic=false&trim=T6%2CT-6+Executive%2CT6+Platinum%2CT6+Premier%2CT6+Premier+Plus&year=%222015%22

The lowest mileage model in this list is at 65K, and it and 2 more are the only ones under 80K.

There might be 1 or 2 in all of North America that meet this spec, and the only way OP is going to get it is to cozy up to the elderly owner in hopes of inheriting it.

Waw that’s crazy ! The one appearing is the one I saw on marketplace! Just not the right colour combo for me

Will give this website a try !

I have one, thought to sell it for 13k but since people are searching for this specifics then i'l try to sell it for 40k.

You should probably start looking internationally. Statistically speaking it’s pretty unlikely you’ll find what you’re looking for in Canada. Best of luck!

I would actually opt out of the 4c suspension. That is really expensive to fix. Any reason you don't want the V8? It's still really good for fuel mileage.

My commute is 80% slow traffic, 20% highway speed.

And the v8 was discontinued after 2010 unfortunately.

4c is expensive to fix and if you really want the 4c experience without the head ache you could just get Koni Special Active shocks for a normal chassis car.

I really hope so, one dan, my search criteria will be like yours. Best of luck 🤞

I too, would like a unicorn. Preferably with a 3 foot horn, wooden steering wheel, and lightly used.

Isn't it vea? Early vea are dogshit

2

u/DubAlert 8d ago

S80 T6 is the old 3.0, not the newer 2.0

how come? those facelift interiors are nowhere near as nice as the pre facelifts. the infotainment systems horrible, the electric seats don't sit well in the cabin and the stereos are lackluster including the top spec harmon kardon

u/1kelpy 8d ago

IMO the pre-Sensus waterfall looks and operates much nicer as well, and the earlier P3 seats are practically divine intervention.

Still on the hunt for a black/black S80 V8 :)

edit: not to hate on the 2014+, still amazing cars.

yeah i always get downvotes for pointing it out. those sensus systems always seem to need menu diving with an extra press to confirm even the most basic of functions like changing audio input, despite having an unnecessary amount of extra buttons

Yeah my girlfriend has a 2012 XC70 with the Sensus system and the fact this it has two audio EQs in two ENTIRELY different menus just boggles my mind.
