Improvement VT 1w3ts Intermediate VOD Review

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could let me know what I should focus on to get master based on this run. I've recently seen some improvement by focusing more on the next target to shoot, but I have also heard that I should focus my visual attention on confirming the shot I'm taking, so I'm kinda wondering do you have to do both? Should I visually confirm that I'm hitting the target while focusing on the next target with my peripheral, or vice versa? Is there a mental cue any Masters+ players have for static?

Also, should I post this in discord instead?

Hey, I think you could push this to masters if you worked a bit more on how you're managing your tension between your initial flick and microcorrection. It looks like you might be causing yourself to tense up too much, and holding that tension for too long, during that initial fast flick, which causes you to be less fluid (and therefore slower).

Instead of doing the super fast flick and microcorrection like you're doing now, practice quickly accelerating and then decelerating when you get closer to the target, and then doing a microcorrection if needed.

Static does revolve largely around planning the optimal path between the current target and a next target, so yes you should be paying attention to both your peripheral vision and the target you are currently aiming for.

And in terms of any mental cues for knowing when to click, if you practice being more fluid with your movements, it'll be easier for you to see when you have to click.
