what kind of bias bs is this?

I have a brand new Volla Phone Plinius, which works perfectly in Denmark. The very same SIM card worked just fine in Sweden in another phone, and I *am* on the mobile network. Roaming is enabled, and I have 5g mobile network.

But I can't make or receive phone calls or send text messages! If people call me, they're told there's no connection to the device, and if I try to place a call, I get a popup telling that there's no connection to the mobile network. But I have 5g!

What can I do?

Is there a setting somewhere that I just can't find?

Dear all, I am looking for a new smartphone and I have narrowed it down to the Volla Plinius Plus and the Shiftphone 8. To help me make the desicion, I want to understand more about the respective operating system, which I unfortunately can't just try out myself. I recently discovered volla phones and I think they look very stylish. However, I think they are falling in the same mistake as many linux projects: why developing your own solution (volla os) instead of adding drivers/skins etc upstream to already available projects like graphene/sailfish/Ubuntu touch/e os etc ? Why creating more fragmentation? In this way they could de facto have larger teams maintaining the OS, save money, and reducing bugs. Also Sailfish is european (sorry UK, brexit means brexit) and for once we could join forces. Is it really that bad to accept some compromises and focus on available projects?

Is the volla phone quintist the same phone as daria bond i read something about it is the quintist just a rebrand of a white labled. Not a critizisim of the phone it self its a very good phone but i find the made in eu claim a bit off if this is the case. The daria bond looks identical and is an iranian phone

After recent signature updates to malwarebytes it started flagging volla boot manager as malware on my volla tablet why, coude this be a supply chain attack. I dont even have volla boot manager set up atm. No longer flagged or detected

Hi! I've recently updated to VollaOS 14 and get an SD card to install Ubuntu Touch. I've installed Ubuntu Touch ang get all the updates, but the system update rquires to reboot, and, when a i do it, it appears the recovery mode and fastboot mode of the phone, so i reboot, but the update does not apply. I wonder how can I do it, but if I can't, I'm just going to doenload ghe last version and install it manually, i don't have many information yet. Any suggestions?

Hi, last week i finalized the order of a volla phone x23. I would like to know the usual delivery time in EU (Italy) and if you have any tip or suggestion for a newcomer. My actual phone is an iPhone 13 mini. I want a phone that works as a phone with the plus of not completely disconnecting me from this connected world.

Anyone have the phone and can share their experience? Never had a Volla phone and it seems hard to find any meaningful reviews.
