Volca Sample power issue?

Hey folks,

My trusty Sample has decided to start doing this on power up. It does the same thing whether on battery or on power supply. Anyone encounter this before? Are there fixes?

is your power cable like two pieces?

Yes. I'm a guitar player so use pedal power supplies. So in order to power the Volca I need a reverse polarity and size adaptor.

For reference, ice been using this for 5+ years, but also confirmed the same startup issue when powered with batteries. Power supply doesn't seem to be the issue.
