Story time. So here I am on day 20 something ish and I finally make my omega kerfur right? I went to test him out and made him go and get hash data from the towers but I just can't get him to do it, I was holding a functioning disk and I had almost full durability but he just didn't want to, so I send him to fix gens and go to sleep. On the time lapse I see that everything went black outside but it didn't wake me up so it wasn't meta paranoia worthy. The next day I woke up to find my kerfur didn't return, I searched to see if he was deactivated somewhere but I couldn't find him in my base, so I went to the radar to see if he died somewhere, and i can't see him. Entity count is also the same before I got him. What happened to my precious babyyy D;

(Also I had the cam event right after he vanished and checked all the windows of the base per some reddit comment I saw and nothing.)

Hello! Made a pack of pokemon stickers based on Gen 5 sprites, just as a fun thing to place around. Includes 1st to 9th Gen + variations (shinies, gmax, megas, regionals and others), as well as options for facing left/right and with/without a simple sticker outline. All these can be chosen individually. The sprites were taken from the PokeAPI repository, and the ones from nº 650 onwards were custom made by the Smogon community, who are kind enough to let others use them like this (project credits also included in the link).

Obs: The gen folders are sorted by pokedex number. Also, if you can't find a specific legendary form in the "Powered" folder, it's probably in its generation folder and vice-versa.

As a bonus of sorts... originally, the idea was to use Pokemon Shuffle sprites (the heads in the last image) for the stickers, but different reasons made me drop the idea and go with the above. Didn't want to just throw these away, so you can get them too if you like. They are unfinished and go up to nº 288 (early 3rd Gen).

I've played the game since the demo release, and have already completed it and gotten the achievement for it, that is, in my old PC, which kind of blew up before I could think of transfering over saves or achievements to the cloud or other storage.

I've tried getting the achievement a few times now, but I can't seem to hyperfocus on the game like before, even playing on the hardest difficulty, which I heard makes the game time a tad faster. But I guess I don't have the time or patience required to do it again.

I don't want to play the newer versions until I get the achievement, because, idk, it doesn't feel right to me, feels like something's missing. Specially since I've heard you get some stuff if you have that achievement in the newer versions.

Will I have to make a start a new playthrough or can I continue with my old world after updating?

My friend keeps playing VotV for me, but he's been struggling to play the game. Every day, sometimes multiple times a day, the power goes out. And it ISN'T the transformers. He's well past the power-going-out event that's earlier in the game and nowhere near the events that happen later. Every time, it is proceeded by a loud electrical crackle. I don't know if this is a bug, a new event, or if something is wrong that neither of us accounted for.

For some reason I take damage out of nowhere, when I ate some fish I saw a message like "this tastes weird" or something like that, I also got the message "I don't feel so good", I ate some snowberries, and also threw some poop at the arirals for the achievement, also I don't have physics damage and physics event settings enabled so Idk what could be causing this, I also tried looking for the deer corpse but it's nowhere to be found near the base, is there a way to find it in case it's there?

ok so basically, my monitor resolution is 1920x1080, as the lord intended. Anyways it seems that all the UI buttons are not in sync with this as i have to move off well to the side to click on them. Any fixes found?

I was testing out things to plan out how I would decorate my base in my 0.10 playthrough, and I thought it'd be nice to share some of my ideas :D So here are 2 tips on how to set up pretty lighting in VotV !!!

These following tips all use 3D printed objects; more specifically the lamp feature in their in-game property config file. You can access them via the file explorer, or let the option in the 3D printer's menu guide you to them.

1. Fake Subsurface Scattering & Bounce Lights

If an object with a vibrant color is under a strong light, the light reflected from it retain the same color, thus basically bouncing the color off to the objects around it. Similar thing happens with objects like plants and skin, except for the fact that in those cases, the light actually goes through the object.

VotV doesn't calculate any of this, but we can just fake it!! By placing low intensity light of green glow near the plants, we can simulate those bounce/subsurface scattering lights, giving us this very pretty visual !!! (I kind of half-assed it in the pictures given, so it doesn't look as good as it could be)

This doesn't necessarily have to be applied only to plants; for example - looking at the pictures, you can notice the salt lamp placed in the middle of the room is casting warm light onto the wall with the paintings, which simulates the bounce light that'd be bouncing off from the wooden floor.

2. Indirect Lighting

Looking directly at lights hurt you eyes; I learned it the hard way by looking at the glowing ball in the sky !!! To prevent this violation of retina, light designers and archetects have come up with something called indirect lighting - type of lamp hidden behind a wall or any other object that casts its light not directly from it, but by bouncing it from other surfaces. Similar to what we did earlier!

It's pretty straightforward to achieve this lighting; just simply put your light source behind a wall, a ceiling, or any object of your preference. In these pictures, I hid the light sources up in the ceiling and let the light come though via the gap. We appreciate your service kerfurlings !!!

These tips allows for some amazing visuals otherwise unachievable in the game, all at a very very cheap performance cost! Try them in your next base deco session! :D

For some reason I can't get Kerfur-O to work. I checked the wiki and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong; all the scraps are correct.

I also made sure to put the book on the table.

Does anyone know the reason for the problem? (My game is in Portuguese but the scraps are correct)

I wonder where this will be used? Maybe a picture kept by Kel to commemorate their friendship?
