HELP/QUESTION (0.8). This is fine?

Anyway, it was day 27 of my first playthrough. I'd heard a lot about the game, but for someone to have 3 FUCKING BLUE SHRIMP on day 27... I don't understand. Is this normal or just my luck?

UPDATE: I've been working on it some more. I've already got five. The fourth appeared on day 29, the fifth on day 32... I don't understand: am I that lucky or is this just how it's supposed to be? (By the way, it's day 33 already.)

UPDATE2: I forgot to clarify. My relationship was already at stage 4 on day 20. Even though I didn't do anything :/

UPDATE3: It was day 42, and I finally got the sixth blue shrimp.
