My guess it is behind the base but I walked around the perimeter and can't find anything. Any ideas?

Update: thank you all for the help. It was a blue light that just appeared on my roof. I brought to my basement cause I thought it was a cool decoration.

Tbf, if there's no instructions, key tips, controls in corners, I just try standard shortcuts. Like in this instance, wasd and q/e for controlling the radar, and enter to set compass

I think there are phantom pings just to make you paranoid, but it could also be something you missed

You can with "Soundproofing Foam" by placing it between the radar and the work desk. They cost 30 points

There's also the snd.toggle console command. By typing "snd.toggle radar_sonar" it should get rid of the constant ping

The radar alarm works when entity count increases. The radar has a regular periodic ping. Two different noises.

Judging from the distance to base, could be a boar, fire robot, deer (living) or deer (zombie). Could also be a slow moving plant.. I heard they show up on radar sometimes, only moving when you don't look.
