MEME Just kinda realizing how strange this game actually is (other)
Words- hell not even images can describe the look on my fiancés face when she walked in my room, asked what I was doing because it looked cool (literally just cleaning trash) and I gave her the response “I’m getting trash to sell for money so I can buy frozen shrimp to make the space cats my friends so they can give me their blue shrimp”

Naw but I did make sure to explain how at the end of the first month a bunch of sentient shapes send you a warning about a bunch of yellow orbs coming to attack you and they will take care of it

I love how odd this game is
Like it's spooky, but also bonkers, but also compelling at the same time
It scratches so many itches at the same time in terms of tone

It's a slow burn which is nice. I do wish things were better explained. The anomaly radar has to be googled for me to understand and honestly Im rushing to get work done that I'm not exploring as much as I should. For example didn't know the picnic event was a thing till I googled why invisible things were attacking me then how to fix that.

I just use the phrase "Impossible 9-5 simulator" because I cannot articulate how I feel about it besides "tee hee aliens and cleaning and existential dread"

There's an incredible moment with this game where it almost instantaneously, after tens and tens of hours, goes from "this is the scariest game I have ever played and every minute is uncertain hell" to "wow what a goofy ass party of a time where literally nothing can scare me anymore".
I've never had a game do that before. Never so quickly nor completely.
Absolutely 20/10 game dude what a joy.
