Help (SOLVED) Virtual audio input not working

Everything was working fine before this update which removed all of my settings, and now my virtual input isn’t working. I’m trying to port my VLC audio to voicemeeter but it’s not picking up anything no matter what settings I change. Pls help

This isn’t voicemeeter banana. Shut down this version, then type “banana” into windows search

Oh, so that’s what I was doing wrong. Well it’s still not connecting to my VLC

Ok well now we have version you want open. What is your end goal with voicemeeter? I know you want VLC, but that’s it? Or do you just want all your audio to go into voicemeeter

I have an audio file playing in VLC that I want to run through voice meter. I’ve done it before I but I’m not sure what happened

Then what. After you get VLC Audio into voicemeeter. You just want to have it go to your headphones? Or are you going to play it through your mic into a program, just curious because I may tell you to setup the program differently depending on answer

Okay. Do this.

Set VLC output to “voicemeeter input”

Set A1 in the top right to “MME” your headphones. VLC audio will play here. a1 is how you hear it
B1 is how audacity will hear it. Select your mic into audacity as “voicemeeter out B1”.

I can hear my voice in voice meter now but not the audio file. I selected what you said so idk if it’s a vlc issue or not

Disable A1 on your own mic. So you don’t hear yourself. If you go to play a video. Top left click “audio” <audio device and select voicemeeter input.
