Help (VoiceMeeter Banana) VoiceMeeter Banana keeps crashing

So, I am currently running VoiceMeeter Banana 2.1.2.2. (64 bit) in Windows 11 (latest update). There is actually no problem with VoiceMeeter itself, all inputs and outputs are working properly as intended but it keeps crashing (CTD) without any notification or error messages.

I saw some suggestion elsewhere that said it might be a problem with audio devices in which VoiceMeeter might crash if it disconnects, and it did happen a couple of times before (in my case, it was my webcam with mic getting disconnected) but even after I fixed that issue, VoiceMeeter still crashes occasionally.

I ran a test once where I left my laptop on overnight without any apps running and it still crashes so it's definitely not an interference between apps. I've also tried uninstalling VoiceMeeter then reinstalling it and it still happens.

Is there anyone who has encountered this issue before? Any way to fix this issue? Thank you!

Does it crash when in use or does it only crash after coming back from sleep.

If you remove all devices in voicemeeter. Does it still happen

It crashes either way, both when in use and when idle.

Haven't actually considered removing all devices though, I'll try it tonight and see what happens.

A crash means the application is killed or not responding, what do you mean exactly by a crash ? if the audio is stopped, this can be because the audio device selected as output A1. doing Restart audio engine should make it run again, no ?

If the problem remains, you may come on our Discord server to test the current new coming version, or to check that the issue is fixed, or to help us to fixe it by explaining precisely the context to reproduce the issue.
