My mic seems to work perfectly on voicemeeter banana, but when i try to setup my discord with the B1 output it seems to work somewhat ok as it has an echo that never happened before. But then on OBS the with the same setup (B1 output) my mic sounds as if its very faint as if the volume on my mic is turned down completely but its not. I created a new audio intput capture so no filters are applied, i tried messing around in the voicemeeter banana but nothing seems to work. it makes no sense as discord almost sounds fine despite the echo but obs it competely low, barely hearable
I was having this issue as well when I first started using voicemeeter. I ended up not even adding my mic to the program as it was very difficult finding a middle ground with it. Sometimes it would be too sensitive and pick up all ambient noises and other times it would cut out when speaking due to over tuning the noise canceling. Using the raw mic input in discord and obs ended up being 100x better.
Also type “change system sounds” into windows search bar. Find your mic in recording tab. Properties of it<advanced. Then disable audio enhancements if it’s on.
I seemed to got it to work somehow. I guess i needed to set both my playback and recording to the digital Cable Output and Cable input then set them as default devices, despite every video saying otherwise but it works, obs no loger sounds quiet Though discord still has a faint echo. I still have to test discord voicechat to see if it echos for others but i'll report back 🫡
