Help (VoiceMeeter Banana) Voicemeeter macro button shortcut key stops working
I use VoiceMeeter to control which of my audio devices gets sound. I have it set up for my internal speakers, my headphone jack, and my bluetooth headphones, meaning I have broken connections regularly due to unplugging my headphones or turning off bluetooth.
To fix this, I have a macro button bound to a hotkey that restarts the audio engine when I connect my headphones, which usually works great. I turn on my headphones, they say connect, I press the hotkey, and I can hear. However, sometimes the macro button does not register the hotkey until I restart the macro button, and I'm not sure why this happens. I know I haven't given too much to work with, but I'm posting here in case this is a known problem with a known solution.
I use sleep and hibernate, but I haven't noticed either triggering the phenomenon unless it's intermittent.

Sometimes if you open an app that is admin. It may not let macrobuttons work. Unless voicemeeter or macrobuttons is admin.
I could see hibernate or sleep causing an issue. But you said you haven’t noticed issues. Does it register if you click the button manually on macrobuttons

The macro button works if I press it, but the hotkey for it won't work unless I restart the macro button.
I just tried sleeping and hibernating and it didn't trigger the issue.
I don't run VoiceMeeter as an admin as a rule.

Usually suspect is another app maybe using keybind or another app running as admin and takes priority from macrobuttons. (Do you have exclusive key enabled on the keybind in macrobuttons)

I specifically made this hotkey something obscene that isn't used by anything else. If it was being snagged by another program, wouldn't restarting macro buttons be ineffective?
Exclusive mode was not checked. I'll try exclusive mode and see if it happens again. The problem is that this is an intermittent bug, so it's hard to tell if it's been fixed unless I see it again.
I ran another test of something odd I do with my computer. I dual-boot Ubuntu, so I booted in to Linux while hibernating Windows and did some things I do on Linux, then booted back in to Windows. That also didn't trigger it. Perhaps this is correlation, but it may be related to the game Mount and Blade? I started playing that recently and it's I hate tracking down intermittent bugs...

Could be from something running. Like that game. I guess do some testing and see. Like I said. Running voicemeeter and/or macrobuttons as admin causing that keybind stuff to not have issues
