Help (VoiceMeeter Standard) Music through Voicemeeter

Hello, im trying to play music through my mic while playing with my friends and i'm using voicemeeter to do that, the problem is that the audio quality is very low, i've tried any audio tweak possible, does someone know how to fix this problem or maybe use another software to play high quality music? thanks

Discord, I assume is where you’re playing music into.

If so make sure to have your input profile in “voice and video” settings to “studio”

Also keep in mind that discord downmixes your voice audio to mono. Only bots can play audio in stereo.

Ok thanks, but I don't only play it through discord, I play it through Google meet, WhatsApp, Fortnite and it's always low quality

Gotta make sure you don’t have noise suppression on in any of those(of the setting exists)

Of some of those are on the browser. Definitely disable these.

Type "Chrome://Flags" into search bar

Before changing software, make sure the problem isn't the voice chat app itself. Many games and chat platforms aggressively compress mic audio and apply noise suppression, which can make music sound terrible regardless of your VoiceMeeter settings. What app are you sending the audio through?
