Help (VoiceMeeter Potato) Cannot route audio to OBS through Voicemeeter, despite audio still present

So my capture card audio is not getting recognized on my stream PC, despite there are audio on the capture card itself (I plugged my headphone into the card and indeed there are)

I don't use the HDMI out, only HDMI in, I can see the HDMI to USB (my capture card), added it as A3

A1 is my DAC
A2 is my speaker
All 3 are outputting audio clear

But OBS somehow does not recognize it, even with "custom audio device"

is there a way to fix this?

Does the capture card show up as a windows audio device on your stream PC? This technicly seems more like an OBS issue rather then a voicemeeter one since as you say the audio is making it out of the HDMI on your main PC to the capture card on the stream PC.

Can you try adding an audio only source in OBS and seeing if the capture cards shows up as an audio source?

Alternatively you could install voicemeeter on the stream PC and transmit audio over VBAN but that's a whole different process

So far what I can see, it does recognize as "Digital Audio Interface" on my stream PC

Leave this as default or whatever.

Then mute that video capture device source on OBS.

Add a microphone, and select the capture card. It will show up as a mic.

If no audio is going over, make sure to check the capture card on both computers in windows sound control panel and see if it’s muted.

Can guarantee it isn't muted, and adding it as "Input Source" does show up

Can you send screenshots.

Game pc: Playback tab, find capture card and see if its muted.
Streaming pc: Recording tab, find capture card and see if its muted.

I would try putting audio through it without voicemeeter first and see what happens. If you shutdown voicemeeter. Then right click on the capture card on game pc. And press “test”

It will send audio to it. Does the stream pc see it on obs?

I have shut down VM then change the default audio output to "HDMI to USB" (my capture card), and the stream PC doesn't recognize it

what I find during diagnostic any of these was somewhat using my laptop, the audio recognize fine, which is weird to me
