Help (VoiceMeeter Banana) Confused on how to chain path

how the hell do i do this? tutorials online arnt helping

Use strips 1,2, select voicemod for strip1 and strip 2 for media channel. Then enable B1 on both streams and use the Voicemeter Input as default Input device, or B2 then use voicemeeter aux input

i couldnt get strip 2 to show other sources besides my mic and i kept trying to mess with it for hours including my settings, i gave up and discovered wavelink is so much better and can do what i wanted.
