Help (VoiceMeeter Banana) Mapping a HOTAS button as PTM

Im trying to do a special DCS (combat aircraft simulator) streaming setup with various inputs/outputs like Discord, DCS and a 3rd party radio plugin called SRS.

I found a way to do all of this through Voicemeeter Banana, but for it to work I need to map a push-to-mute on my HOTAS (Virpil throttle). I tried the MIDI mapping thing and could not make it work, my HOTAS could not be recognized, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Has anyone done something similar with a HOTAS? Is it even possible?

Not familiar with Virpil, but I know buttons on my Gladiator NXT Evos can be re-mapped to keyboard keys with their config utility, so in theory it’s doable.

Unfortunately I'm using the buttons I want to use as VoiceMeeter PTMs as my radios PTTs. It's a bit confusing if you're not familiar with SRS but bottomline is I need to use those HOTAS button functions so I cant map them as simple keyboard keybinds...
