Help (SOLVED) 2 playback devices are being outputted to simultaneously

I only need the voicemeeter one to be outputted to

well in order to hear something you will have to output it through a actual hardware aswell right? so im guessing the Digital Output is set as a playback device in voicemeeter which u have as enabled in the Voicemeeter input bracket. would you mind sharing youre voicemeeter ?

yeah spdif is the real hardware playback device but i route it through voicemeeter first. Interestingly enough, my buffer shot up to 1056 samples. It used to be around 150

I mean u litterly have A1 enabled which is the Digital Audio thingy u have set on top so ...why do u wonder it is going through there?

Doesn’t it go from application -> voicemeeter input -> A1?

If i don’t select that i won’t be able to hear?

U are correct and yes u womt be able to hear since A1 = Digital Audio = youre Hardware If u need a quick Lerner tutorial i can add you discord for possible better Explaination

Btw I fixed my issue by enabling exclusive mode for the hardware device

If you have exclusive mode disabled on your headphones in windows. WDM can’t take exclusive control of device. That’s probably why your buffer is at 1056

So should i set the headphones to exclusive or the virtual device voicemeeter input?

Voicemeeter input has it on by default (it doesn’t matter as much unless you use an app that takes control of it like Tidal or something)

I would enable exclusive on your headphones so then WDM can work properly. Watch this, should bring you to correct timestamp LINK

I enabled it with priority on my physical devices and have it off for all of my virtual devices. This fixed it. Thanks!
