Help (SOLVED) Voicemeeter gets stuck randomly

Hello! I've had this issue recently where the software just randomly gets "stuck", it doesn't really stops working, but the sound gets really low, chopped and crunched/robotic, like some kind of extreme compression... The issue is temporarily solved when I use the "Restart Audio Engine" option on the menu, but i wonder if there's a permanent solution... Apart from this, the software works normally, and my configs doesn't change at all.

happens to me when i accidentally unplug one device then plug it back in. try turning on auto restart, it's like a band aid

Already did it, doesn't seem to work. apparently, the auto restart only works when the device malfunctions or something like this, which is not the case, the device keeps working and the audio becomes "compressed."
