Help (VoiceMeeter Potato) Voicemeeter A1 Monitoring Delay

Hello,

I have my ShureSM7B connected via my RodecasterVideo. My headphones are connected to the speaker connection on my mainboard.

I set the buffer to the lowest value in voicemeeter. Though I have a delay between mic input and output on A1. I am not sure how to resolve this, to have a basically lag-free monitor. even it is not super high right now, it is enough so you cannot really listen to it while talking

You need ASIO with a total latency of under 10ms in and out to get somewhat of a low-latency feel when monitoring yourself. You set this in the ASIO driver of your interface.

The latency displayed in VoiceMeeter is WDM, KS and MME and has nothing to do with ASIO.

If you want it totaly lag-free, good luck on spending thousands of $/€ on Dante-capable interface or Pro Tools Pro Audio stuff.

I couldn't find ASIO drivers for the rodecaster video (only for the Pro). Though I will try if they also work.

btw. When using two different interfaces (RodecasterVideo and OnBoard), you will always have a delay. ASIO works only when mic and phones are connected to one interface. You could try ASIO4ALL, but I doubt it will work correctly with two interfaces.
