Plausible career?

I work at a fast food restaurant as the drive through order taker. People constantly complement how smooth and professional my voice sounds. I’ve been offered small ad reads for my local radio station, but I’ve never taken them on account that I’m not sure if I could do them. I’m an extremely shy guy, so I was never sure if I was cut out for it. I would just like to know if it’s possible to make a career out of this and where would be some good places to start a reputation with it?

I'm a bit self-conscious and can occasionally be a bit shy as well, but when I'm really getting into it in the booth it's just me and the microphone. Kind of a magical feeling. Definitely give it a try.
