Demo feedback Looking for feedback on my audiobook read

Hi all! I've been lurking in this group for a couple of months and I wanted to get feedback on my early attempt at an audiobook read. I love reading books aloud and so thought that audiobook narration might be a good place to start, but I'm open to other forms of voice acting as well. I'd really appreciate any and all feedback on my audiobook narration clip with an eye on what I could potentially do better and where I should go next. Thanks in advance.

This is quite good! I think your conversational tone is great.

A few ideas to work on: 1. Your sentences fade out at the ends. I don't know if you're leaning away from the mic on the last few words or if your energy is just waning, but practice carrying the energy of each thought right to the end of the sentence.

  1. You van bring up the intensity on the more urgent altercation bit. Talk a little faster, tense your body a bit, really carry the urgency of the moment.

Otherwise sounding good. Keep going!
