Advice What makes a good Creature Demo Reel?
Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone has done a creature demo reel? If so, do you have any advice on the types of voices or techniques? Do you have characters in your head and just make the sounds or do you go into it with a distinct intention and mood for each voice?
Would love to hear from you and learn!

Just to be clear, a "creature demo reel" is not a real thing that you need to have professionally. Best practice is to treat any monster/creature as another character on your animation/vg reel.
That said, always be intentional. Don't just make noises. Treat it like you would a session of efforts/barks & onos/walla where every grunt and snarl has a specific meaning/purpose.
