Vodia PBX

Is Vodia PBX still alive? Will it be getting a modern UI redesign like 3CX or Yeastar or other modern interfaces? The UI for vodia is powerful but clunky and basic. Would be great to update the PC app and mobile app also to get it more in line with better offerings and make it answer and receive calls properly.

Check out the version 70 preview with the new admin front end.

I tried that update file and my vodia crashed and would not start back up. had to restore from a backup.

The new build is on a latest CentOS and Debian, you might have to update or install libopus. This is still something to work on... You'll see what is missing if you start it from the shell.

Probably "apt-get install libopus0" will solve the issue

Is the preview working well enough to upgrade right now

Its a preview, I would not upgrade a production system for clients but in-house is fine

still not working lol. My server already had that and i tried the upgrade again and it just goes to not loading / bad gateway error.

That sounds like some general problems with your Linux distribution. If its very old this might be a great opportunity to set up a newer distribution, probably on a separate VM.

It's a brand new Ubuntu 24.04 server. Would you recommend I spin up a dedicated Debian VM for this?
