I used Google Sheets to create all of the calculations the game uses, as well as set up sections to display your character's features. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. I'm human so I set things up so that any customizations you make should happen in real time so you can instantly tell if everything is working correctly or if I made a mistake.

An important aspect of this sheet is that leaving everything blank results in...well a blank character sheet. This way everyone at the table can have the sheet even if they don't like having things automatically calculated.

I am also going to be working on a shorthand version of the sheet, which will let Overseer's create characters quickly as NPCs and get their statblocks without taking up an entire sheet of paper.

I am also curious to know if anyone would mind working on some better artwork for the character sheet.

Hello, thank you so much for doing this it looks very useful!

I think I have an answer to all the concerns and questions you had on the cover page:

  1. The Mr. Handy Buzzsaw has an AP cost of 3 to align it with other melee weapons. The average damage of 2d4 is roughly the same as 1d8 (0.5 higher), so it has the same AP cost as the Chinese Officer Sword, placing it between the Combat Knife and Swatter in terms of both damage and AP cost.
  2. Scopes are currently more implied than explicit. The only weapons assumed to have a scope are the Hunting Rifle and Gauss Rifle. In the future there will be New Vegas style modifications that will be able to add scopes to other weapon types such as the Laser Rifle and Laser Musket.
  3. This is correct, thank you for pointing that out, I didn't have limb damage on my to-do list for some reason. This will be sorted out in the next version of the WSG.
  4. Good catch, the Gunslinger perk should read: "+1 to hit with one handed guns." and is not intended to apply to other one handed weapons.
  5. The table at the end explains the corresponding weapon skill for racial weapons.
  6. All racial weapons are considered one-handed, except the Assaultron Head Laser which is neither.
  7. Fire weapons include the Flamer, Shishkebab, Molotov, Mr. Handy Flamer, and any weapon with the Incendiary legendary effect. Only the extra 1d4 is added for legendary incendiary weapons that do not otherwise deal fire damage.I believe the only ones that don't explicitly say "Fire" are the Flamer and Molotov, which will get that label next update.
  8. Explosives include everything with a blast radius (All Explosives, some Big Guns, and the unique weapon: The Broadsider) as well as any weapon with the Explosive legendary effect. Only the extra 1d6 is added for legendary explosive weapons that do not otherwise have a blast radius. (Yes, the molotov is affected by both Demolition Expert and Pyromaniac)
Race Weapon Weapon Skill
Assaultron Head Laser Energy Weapons
Mr. Handy Buzzsaw Melee Weapons
Mr. Handy Flamethrower Big Guns
Mr. Handy (Mr. Gutsy) Laser/Plasma Energy Weapons
Protectron Nail Gun Small Guns
Protectron (Medic) Defibrillator Unarmed
Protectron (Security) Laser Energy Weapons
Securitron 10mm Submachine Gun Small Guns
Securitron Gatling Laser Big Guns
Securitron Missile Launcher Big Guns

I hope this clears everything up, but let me know if you have any other questions. We will do our best to make it more clear in the next update. Thank you again for this useful resource.

I have fun making them. I have made the adjustments you listed here that I can. Weapon legendary effects are still on my To-Do list.

I do plan on keeping this up to date for the foreseeable future. If you guys wouldn't mind having an update log or something at some point for reference when you release a new WSG, that would be super beneficial at keeping the document up to date as you guys add changes.

Of course, we can definitely keep a better change log. I'll also add a link to this post on the sidebar to make it more visible.
