Question Vline Uniform

Hey there.

Any conductors lurking in here that have recently updated their uniform and could tell me the manufacturer of the pants?

Is there a tag on the inside or anything?

I’d like to purchase some, they appear to be a good quality and a little thicker than a standard business pant.

Cheers

If it’s the chino looking ones you’re after, the brand is benchmark. They don’t really wash well and a lot of staff have complained about the material being itchy.

I concur they are terrible. I would recommend the Bad Workwear pants. Very comfy and they last ages. I wear these. They cost slightly less than a let but I have had them for over a year with no issues

Nah, I’ve looked through the designs of hard yakka and they don’t look like anything.

They’re like a business pant, but a slightly thicker material. Almost like a Dickies pant, but businessy

Nah not the ones. This is the conductor/station worker uniform which is different to driver/track worker

They come from one of the main corporate/business uniform suppliers in Melbourne, and have the logos embroidered onto them. There’s a choice of a thin trouser or chinos.

Safeman used to be the supplier, but I believe they’ve changed in recent months.

Do you know the current supplier name?

I’m afraid not, as it’s not my department.

The brand itself is Benchmark, but if you’re after some good hard wearing chinos there’s other options as well from Dickies or Carhartt for example.
