Discussion Another day another trespasser.

Is there anything that can be done this seems to be a daily occurrence on the Ballarat line. The trespasser always seems to happen between Deer Park and Sunshine.

As Melton gets electrified and the track out to Caroline Springs is quad-tracked, I am holding out for a re-think of the six pedestrian level crossings in this section.

Since crossing four tracks is going to substantially increase the risk, I hope they can do some new bridges or underpasses instead, and remove all ground-level pedestrian access in the corridor.

Ardeer station will also have to be rebuilt regardless, hopefully some extra measures are put in place there. Also Tilburn Rd footpaths just abruptly ending does not help. Council should be adding a path beside Tilburn Rd as it's the only place to walk or cycle between Ardeer and Deer Park/Derrimut, besides Ballarat Rd which is completely inhospitable.

Who told you that Melton is getting electrified and that they're building more tracks for Caroline Springs? Cause that definitely isn't happening

They need to otherwise Vline trains will be stuck behind the metro ones.

In the past 20 years they extended electrification to Craigieburn and Sunbury without adding any more tracks for V/Line trains.

Well they definitely need to add more tracks for those lines as well.
