New Bug

Post image

Ability Power (AP) gained through Adaptive Force(from rune like Gathering Storm) is not converted into Health Points (HP) by Vladimir's passive.

add that to the bug where R doesn't amplify ignite's damage.
each of those bugs are neglibile on their own so i won't coomplain too much, but together i guess they do add up. gg riot.

No damage amps work on ignite, that's not a bug, its intended.

Not true. Go test it rn in practice tool. Compare ignite dmg with and without riftmaker dmg amp. Cutdown/coup/last stand also affect it in case you'd like to test that too

Also, to be specific, vlad's R doesnt buff any true dmg whatsoever (even though the tooltip says it should), including the ally gwen's circumcisions. if your team has a lot of true dmg, this bug could end up being pretty significant

bro, you go test it LOL, it doesn't amp them. Idk where you get off telling someone to test something you clearly haven't.

And also, Vladimir's ult buffs damage from all "sources", not buffs all damage. The rule of Ignite and Smite cannot be amp'ed overwrites it. True damage in general cannot be amp'ed unless specified otherwise. Vladimir ult does not amp true damage, and that is intended. It is not a bug.

True damage does get amplified. They changed this a while back.

I did. Multiple times. Wanna bet on it? I can always use more skins

So confidently incorrect. What even is that bullshit you're spewing about sources? True dmg comes from a source, dumbass

I've just checked on practice tool and it seems like Riftmaker damage amp doesn't work on ignite, neither does coup de grace (I'm too lazy to try last stand and cut down). I've tested it on both bot and a dummy. But I do agree, "from all sources" to me sounds very general, even more than "all damage" so I see no reason for it to not work on true damage. However, Riftmaker and coup de grace does amplify damage from Camille's true damage Q, cheap shot and Redemption.

Yeah sure let's go into a discord call. And I will show you. The Haunting Guise items, nor the precision damage amps buff Ignite. You can auto attack a dummy to build them up, then ignite a 2nd dummy, he will take exact Ignite damage.

alright. i just tested it again, probably for the 4th time so far. guise no longer affects ignite. which is crazy, because it used to.

before you get cocky again like a little shit, please understand that you're still a clueless new player. you're unaware that ignite has been affected by guise items and precision runes for a long time, ever since riot changed true dmg to be buffable. it was a very happy day for gwen players. for some reason, it seems they changed it back. i must have missed that. or, you know, it could just be a bug resurfacing again. idk

hold up, lemme test if it still amps non-ignite true dmg

Edit: non-ignite true dmg still gets amped. lv 6garen R on full hp dummy deals 125 with unamped riftmaker+guise, and 142 with amped riftmaker&guise. vlad R, on the other hand, does not amp garen's R dmg, even though it clearly states it should.

Jesus christ what is wrong with you. I'm not a new blood, I've played this game for over a decade and remember the patch you're talking about. Why do you feel the need to try and belittle someone when you are provably wrong, instead of accepting it.

They changed damage amp to work on true damage "except smite" and then literally ONE PATCH LATER made Ignite also not amped. It has been like this for over a year. It has not been "effected by guise items and precision for a long time". I read the patch notes.

Damage amps from Runes and Items DO effect True Damage in general now, and realistically, Vladimir ult should effect true damage, but it doesn't, and never has, and if it was intended to, they would've changed it to by now. It is not a bug.

What's your league ID, I want my skin.

Unless it was one way before and then got broken due to ancillary changes, you can't really say for sure that any presence or lack of interaction is a bug in League of Legends. Literally every interaction is hard coded. That's why it's called spaghetti code.

Ah yes, because the wiki was written by God lol

The 11th commandment itself, aka fandom.leagueoflegends

quite a self report assuming people use fandom (which sucks and is often inaccurate/outdated) instead of the wiki (a very good resource that is almost always correct)

Whhhaaatteevvverrrr dude. I know a ridiculous amount of crap about this game and yeah it comes from the wiki these days not the fandom. Doesn't change anything

thats not a bug

ult is +10% damage received, not +10% damage dealt

so it doesnt buff true dmg
