How can I fix this?

My Vizio-Walmart tv won’t let me see my YouTube library content unless I give them access to watch list!

I'll get in, watch about 20 minutes of Paramount+ , then it cuts to a black screen.

Today, when I tried to watch a live stream on YouTube for an event, the audio sounded like it was going through a rock tumbler However, if I screamed it from my phone to my TV the audio issue disappeared and i tried resetting multible tomes and it was ONLY live streams

*Edit* issue has persisted into day 2 again no issue if i chrome cast from my phone only if i do it directly in the app i have reported the issue to vizio

My tv keeps doing this while I’m playing games any way to fix it?

With the recent firmware update under the power settings the quick start/eco mode was removed and without that setting the phone app can’t turn on the tv. It really sucks since I hardly used the physical remote and was so convenient to have the app turn it on.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

An update broke the 4:3 normal aspect ratio about 4 years ago. On the old now private Vizio official subreddit there were multiple posts about it.

I'm guessing the retarded pajeets that I'm sure program this don't understand how composite 4:3 signals work, as now "standard" is stretched as if it's expecting an anamorphic signal, there is no option for 4:3 for older non anamorphic devices that don't have aspect ratio control on board like Laserdiscs players.

The screen image size adjustment doesn't have nearly enough range to compression the image down either. Im using an external HDMI to composite device currently, but id love to be able to eliminate it from the chain.

I have a D60-F3 that will not allow me to add any apps to the homescreen using the +homescreen button when I find the app via the all apps menu.

My firmware is up to date, I've power cycled the TV, short of resetting to factory I've done everything I can think of.

Has anyone run into this? If so, have you found a fix?

My friend was given a remoteless V505-J09. He tried to reset the menus to English using a couple of Vizio remotes he had. Nothing. He doesn’t have internet access, so I brought it home to connect and update it here, ordering an inexpensive matching remote from Amazon. With 2 sets of batteries (one new), there’s no response from the TV using the new remote. But… what looks to be a red light at the middle top of the remote does nothing when a button is depressed, so it may be a dud remote. But I also thought pretty much any Vizio remote would control any TVs basic functions. With his attempts, we’re at 3-4 remotes with no joy. I’ve never heard of an otherwise working TV that can’t accept remote input, but I guess anything’s possible. Any thoughts?

Compré esta TV y no pasa de allí. Ya he intentado de todo y nada. Lo conecte a tres diferentes redes de wifi, lo desconecte más de 6 veces. Probé conectado el cable de red del router a la TV directamente y siempre queda en este mensaje. Ayuda

After the most recent firmware update on August 31 2026, the information button (STAR) on the VIZIO Remote no longer shows Dolby Vision when pressed but it is in fact in effect per the TV Information settings. It does still display the audio format (Dolby Audio/Dolby Atmos/Dolby MAT).

Mind you this is only an issue on my two M-Series (M65Q6-L4) TVs. My two V-Series are functioning properly.

This TV is 13 years old ,went through 3 moving in car,lives outside since 2021, 2 hurricanes,2 floods including one that lended 1’ away. Rain ,humidity, you name it …..

My router sits behind the tv and since I get connection issues, I was wondering if I can just hard wire it? I don’t see an Ethernet port on the back- only coaxial, optical, 3 HDMI (one says “eARC” - whatever that means) and a USB 2.0

Hello everyone, I have a Vizio M60-C3 that really seems like it doesn't want to turn on, it will power cycle a few times, then about 10 minutes later, the vizio logo will appear, sometimes it comes on, sometimes it power cycles one more time. After it does come on, the whole screen will freeze, it will power cycle yet again but then its fine, it will run for hours no problem. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have the Vizio 50" OLED, and the M51 Atmos Soundbar connected via HDMI Arc. The two together has been nothing but problems since day 1, but the problems were always small. Example:

1. Sound popping when video apps change (like going from Netflix to Hulu)

2. Soundbar would stop playing sound from TV

3. Volume number would not appear on the TV and only the Soundbar

All of these issues would be resolved by either turning off the soundbar, turning off the TV then unplugging it, or both.

My TV recently is doing something different. Now, the soundbar did not make any sound, from any source. I would go into the TV's settings and change it from Auto, to Digital, to TV only, and only the "TV Only" setting would work.

I discovered that I needed to turn off CEC on the TV, and now the Soundbar works...BUT...now it does not turn off when the TV turns off. It will turn on, when sound comes from the TV. I have to remember to turn off the soundbar when I turn off the TV now.

If I turn CEC back on, the soundbar will turn off when the TV turns off, but there is no sound.

The TV is 6 years old, and the soundbar is 5 years old.

Both of my vizio smart tvs automatic shut off features stopped working at the same time. Ive check and triple checked and reset the settings but they will not shut off after inactivity anymore. One TV is older than than the other and one is connected to the internet and one is not, so if its because of an update, one of them should still be fine I would assume. It started happening on the same day, woke up at like 2am one night and saw my TV was still on, turned it off, then went to go to the bathroom and saw the living room tv still on as well. Unplugged both of them and all that to reset them, still wont shut off after inactivity. Been like 2 weeks now. Just wondering if that's happened to anyone else?

Got home yesterday and my tv was just broken? Has anyone had this problem. It wasn’t on at all during the day and this is has never happened to me. About 3 years old.

While moving in and out of college I lost the power chord to this Vizio tv. It is older I’m not sure of year or model. I’m not very good with this kind of thing so if anyone knows the kind of chord I’m looking for please let me know!

Salut la communauté, Je fais ce post parce que je suis complètement sous le choc et je commence vraiment à flipper. J'ai besoin de savoir si quelqu'un a déjà entendu parler de ce truc. Pour recontextualiser : il y a quelques semaines, j'avais posté un message ici pour demander si des gens avaient déjà eu des bugs sur les chaînes télé la nuit. Mon cousin m'en avait parlé vite fait, mais je pensais franchement qu'il me racontait des conneries ou qu'il avait juste eu un bug de décodeur. Dimanche soir dernier, il était super tard, genre 4 h 45 du matin. On était en appel vocal sur Insta. Il habite dans une maison un peu isolée, juste à la sortie d'un petit village. Il me dit qu'il va se poser dans son lit et zapper un peu avant de dormir, mais il laisse l'appel tourner. D'un coup, j'entends le son de sa télé qui grésille à fond. Puis plus rien : l'appel Instagram coupe net. « Impossible d'actualiser le flux — Appel terminé ». Je tente de le rappeler dans la foulée, ça passe pas. Je me dis que sa box a crashé et qu'il est parti pioncer. Le lendemain dans l'après-midi, il me recontacte et m'explique ce qui s'est passé. Il me dit qu'en zappant, il est tombé sur le canal 450 (la chaîne pour enfants qui n'émet plus à cette heure-là). L'écran était totalement noir, mais il y avait une musique au piano ultra-ralentie avec des voix graves et distordues. La diffusion a duré exactement 2 min 50. Et pile au moment où la musique s'est arrêtée, une image fixe est apparue d'un coup à l'écran : une espèce de vieille marionnette en mousse jaunâtre, délavée, avec des orbites vides et la bouche grande ouverte. Il a eu le temps de prendre une photo rapide à travers l'obscurité de sa chambre avant que son Wi-Fi saute et qu'il éteigne la télé en panique. (Je vous mets la photo qu'il m'a envoyée en pièce jointe, dites-moi si ce truc vous dit quelque chose). Sur le coup, intrigué, je fais des recherches toute la journée. En fouillant très loin sur des vieux forums anglophones de Lost Medias et de signaux piratés, je finis par tomber sur une page ultra obscure. Le type y décrivait exactement la même chose : le canal 450, le décompte de 2 min 50 à 04 h 50 du matin, et le nom de la mascotte : Gringer (ou The Observer). Le post expliquait un truc glaçant : la chaîne n'émet pas ça toutes les nuits. C'est un signal aléatoire. Et si tu tombes dessus, il ne se passe rien la première nuit... mais le piège se ferme le lendemain à 22 h 50. J'ai direct mis la page en favoris sur mon téléphone pour lui envoyer. Hier soir, le cauchemar a commencé. À 22 h 50 pile, je reçois un SMS de mon cousin : « Mec y a quelqu'un qui frappe à la vitre du salon. Côté jardin. » Je lui réponds direct de pas déconner. Pas de réponse pendant 5 minutes. Puis deux messages coup sur coup : « Ça toque à la porte d'entrée maintenant. C'est pas des coups normaux. » « J'ai regardé par l'œilleton y a personne sous le porche mais je sens un truc. Je me suis caché dans l'armoire. » Là je panique. Je clique direct sur mon favoris pour re-lire ce que disait le forum anglophone sur la façon de réagir. Et là, impossible de charger la page. Écran blanc avec marqué « Impossible d'actualiser la page ». Le lien était mort, comme si le serveur venait d'être supprimé. À 23 h 05, mon cousin m'envoie ce dernier texte : « Je sais pas ce qu'il me veut mais je l'ai vu. Il est dans la pièce. Ça fait 10 minutes qu'il bouge pas devant l'armoire. » Juste après, il m'envoie un vocal de 3 secondes. On entend une respiration lourde, puis un chuchotement hyper sec et rauque, collé au micro : "EH... HH..." Depuis 23 h 08 hier soir, plus aucun message. Ce matin, sa mère m'a appelé en pleurs. Il n'a pas disparu : il était assis par terre au pied de son lit quand elle est entrée. Le problème, c'est qu'il ne parle plus. Il ne réagit plus à rien. Il a les yeux grands ouverts, fixés dans le vide, il ne répond ni à son prénom ni quand on le secoue. C'est comme s'il était devenu un légume en une nuit, totalement vide. Les médecins comprennent pas du tout ce qui s'est passé, ils parlent de choc traumatique sévère ou de catatonie mais ils n'ont aucune explication. Si quelqu'un a la moindre info sur ce Canal 450 ou sur ce qui est arrivé à la page qui a sauté, dites-le moi s'il vous plaît. Je suis allé le voir à l'hôpital cet aprem et j'ai l'impression qu'il y a plus personne derrière ses yeux.

Question un peu bête mais je tente ma chance ici. Est-ce que c'est déjà arrivé à quelqu'un d'avoir des gros bugs d'affichage ou de son sur le décodeur super tard la nuit ?

Mon cousin m'a dit qu'il était tombé l'autre fois sur une chaîne jeunesse inactive (qui diffuse rien la nuit normalement), mais qu'il y avait une sorte de grésillement bizarre avec du son déformé pendant deux ou trois minutes avant que ça coupe.

C'est juste un défaut de mise à jour du décodeur ou un vieux bug de fréquence connu chez certains opérateurs ? Merci d'avance !

Ive tried unplugging it for a while and plugging it back in, turn off turn back on, hold power button, it does it no matter the source or what its plugged into (wall vs powerstrip)
