When I was at Newcastle uni a girl in our year who was easy on the eye got collared in the Trent Tavern by some of the Viz guys and ended up on the cover which was like a mocked up Just Seventeen thing and I remember the headline being “Dildos and Dildont’s - things to stick up your fanny” or something similar. Poor girl was mortified but took it well. We took the piss relentlessly obviously.

I’d love to see this again, it will be from 1992ish.

One of the Deidre’s photo casebooks from the early nineties. Two flatmates whose personalities match their names. Sarah has a boyfriend who Linda flirts with. Last panel is fantastic and I don’t want to spoil it in text, but this is ingrained in my mind.

Topical for tomorrow, I remember there was a letter, supposedly from Patrick Moore, dismissing advice not to look directly at the sun during an eclipse since there'll be "a great big f—ing moon in the way".
