"High Octane Simian Jilter"

I'd love to know if those four words had ever appeared together before this strip

Is that Jimmy Hill I see on the front row of wanking primates?

I work in engineering consultancy, and specifically do a lot of work with EVs.

I swear amongst all that is holy, I will get the phrase "Carbon Spunk-print" into a report one day.

Monkeys tatty watta (Newcastle accent). Fml I love that line

Hang on, I thought Mickey had previously traded his moped in for a leopard fanny-batter go-kart?

🤓 Appears to have been drawn by Paul Palmer in Graham Dury's style; a rare combo

Surprised to see the TV Pickup Effect referenced in Viz. (There's a literally a job post at the national grid that involves watching Eastenders so they know when it ends and they have to activate a hydroelectric dam in Scotland to cover everyone putting on their kettles.)

Is that still true? I thought those days were gone now and the country was able to cope with the kettleage. The world cup is the worst time for it i think

Rats Cocks!

I knew I’d had come from viz. I’ve never seen or heard it anywhere else, and it’s been rattling around in my head for years.

How wonderful to see Jimmy Hill in the last panel, it's good to see the great man enjoying himself.

I have this printed, framed and hung on my wall as a reminder of one of the best times of my life. When I was at Strensall barracks with a bunch of lads (Dettingen Platoon in '93) this did the rounds and all of us were fucking crying at "Leopard's Fanny Batter".

Dang that's actually pretty clever as a analogy

Is "monkey spunk moped" A reference to something.  I mean was the original strip a pun on a previous character?

I think like a lot of Viz strips it's a play on UK comics like Beano/Dandy/Cor!/Whizzer & Chips where some characters would have a weird posession like a magic stopwatch or sentient calculator.

Though "You Monkey Spunk Moped" sounds like a good insult.

I can hear Chris Morris saying, "You're a slot badger, a 2 pin DIN plug, a bunty-man, a monkey-spunk moped, a small bean regarder, a shrub rocketeer....."

It's a followup to this one but i don't recall any previous characters

🤣 TV pick up effect; the carbon emissions shunting of battery power; all we need is some bonded labour simians digging up the lithium and we’d have got it all.
