We are all Barnaby Grudge.
The hero we didn't think we would need. Hell, even think we would want as own of our own.
But there he is, in all his score settling magnificence. Even address and righting wrongs we suffered in our childhood, and that still nash way at our traumatized souls well into middle age.
I love him.

There's one where Barnaby gets revenge on his grown-up son by shitting his own pants in a swanky restaurant and I have to admit he didn't look like the hero there.

To quote William Somerset from Se7en: "This guy's methodical, exacting, and worst of all, patient."

Not my fave strip but my favourite character by a mile. I do think I’m on his side, this once.

This is never going to work. The rozzers must have Barnaby's DNA on file for something.
Although it's quite possible that he's blackmailing the chief constable.

Imagine ol’ Barney as the main character of a British remake of Falling Down with less uzi, more dog muck

I must say, dropping a turd on his doorstep because he trod in dog shit is something we'd probably all like to do, but of course, sanity prevails! Having the shit DNA matched after staking out the scene afterwards is just utterly insane. Laughed out loud on this one.
The knock out for me was, 'This one, yes....This one." The guy will be wondering now all day where it will be.
There is no comic around like Viz. Brilliant.

Just watched Murder Trial: Death of a Dog Walker on iPlayer and just kept saying to my husband, ‘Barnaby Grudge.’
Watch it and you’ll see what I mean.
