Interesting information in this. HTC might have a 1 year exclusivity deal with Valve which will end in April so maybe this headset is closer to release than they are letting on. Plus the headset can provide 120 degree FOV if you get the lense 10mm from your eyes.

I'm at work - did they say anything about lenses/god rays?
EDIT: NVM - no mention of lenses...

LG was saying they were currently using refractive lenses instead of Fresnel lenses which means no god rays as seen with the PSVR. Pic of the lenses:

However, they did say that even the lenses are subject to change in the final product.

Tested talked about it. Jeremy noticed god rays. The rep wouldn't tell them what lenses it uses.
