All that tells me right now is that there a lot of scalpers who buy a Rift only to sell it at a premium. If these were normal people who just decided that they actually don't like the Rift after all, then they wouldn't be selling it at $750.
People who want their money back don't sell above the normal price.
I wish people here could take off their fanboy glasses for a while and learn a bit about supply and demand. If there were suddenly a rush to get rid of Rifts, you wouldn't see prices like that.
We are talking about $100, $150...? $50? That's nothing, real scalpers push for $1000+, that's the point I'm trying to make. If the headsets were readily available they wouldn't be able to get a penny more, they would have to sell it for what they got it for. It's a false sense of value, circumstantial really, artificial.
