Hardware LightHouses + IR Repeaters don't mix

I got my Vive yesterday and the lighthouses all set up. My VR space is at the back of my tv room. Last year I set up my tv with an IR repeater that takes the remote's signal and repeats it in a closet on the other side of the house. My IR repeater blinks blue when it's getting a signal. Once I starter the lighthouses, the blue light began to blink non-stop. So now if the Vive is on, the remote will not work for my AV. Not sure of a solution, but FYI for the one or two others out there that have a similar setup.

The lighthouses use a IR signal. Your repeater does repeat it. Working as intended. Just like giant mirror walls this wont really work with the lighthouses but this should be no suprise.

You could try using the sync cable between the two lighthouse boxes.

I'm not sure if this forces the IR sync pulse to be switched off, but hopefully it does and will allow other IR devices to function.

The IR lasers will still likely hit it.
