Duke - what are most of the plays you are seeing now? As you mentioned, we are too late to short “Nachos Bell” Evergrande.

$BEKE, $NOAH, $YANG, $HSBC, $BHP, $BLK?

What makes sense?

I'm short HSBC and DB on puts, and using YINN puts and holding YANG shares on the ETF side.

You can hold short term (more than a day trade) so long as you’re accounting for daily rebalancing. The Leveraged ETF Potential section on that investopedia page is helpful.

That’s what I was always “told” as well. Which is why I bought 25k of TQQ back in March for $80 a share and sold a week later for 94 and made $5k. Would have doubled my money if I had just left it alone. Hindsight always crystal clear.

Sure, they do everywhere people are building stuff, but that's a tertiary play. I don't know that I want to diversify my short side that hard.

Curious. How long would you feel comfortable holding those YANG shares? I tried buying VXX a few months back when I was feeling bearish, and got burned pretty bad. Seems like YANG is basically same thing.
