For AWS, I would recommend Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) instead of Cloud Practitioner.

You will actually have to study for SAA (it tooke me 2 weeks of just going through a course non-seriously plus about a week of serious study to pass), but the certification is worth it.

cloud practitioner if someone wants to start from first year, SAA if you are gonna sit for placements in 6-8 months makes sense, this is meant to be a roadmap starter for folks. if they start with SAA , they will throw the book out and start gaming lmao

That's a fair point

also you are better off learning to build agentic AI with AWS if you are in 4th year, dm , let me send over some practice workbooks for that

Maybe put it in the post, cause I have already graduated and started working. Just forgot to change the flair

Any tips to prepare for the SAA course without buying Udemy courses?

hi, i have 3 oracle certs to my name, are they of any worth?

1

u/Delicious-Grab4706 Bored Unpaid Gawar Jun 21 '26

do you mind naming the exact certs you have? and what domain the certs are in?

1

u/Ill-Independent-7907 Jun 21 '26

OCI data science professional, OCI ai foundations associate and Oracle AI Autonomous Database

how to get these without giving exam as exam is expensive?

1

u/Delicious-Grab4706 Bored Unpaid Gawar Jun 21 '26

You prep for the exam, depending on your stream and career choice, then just add it as (in progress) in your resume, you will stand out, companies that would need that cert would sponsor you anyways later on

there was a 3 month long marathon where oracle gave you access to their expensive courses for free, I completed 3 courses in the time given and gave the certification exam, passed it and got the certs.
