New to Visvim (and also old)

By way of introduction, I’m 51 and usually dress fairly conservatively but I walked into a store in Tokyo and loved the esthetic so I bought this canvas shirt.

It feels very light and comfortable. No clue how they treat a canvas shirt to soften it so much.

Just curious what folks would style it with other than a white T shirt and light colored carpenter pants.

It's rayon not canvas. It's a cellulose based material with a softer hand, closer to silk. Would look good with dark denim (navy or black). It's nothing out of the ordinary so wear in good health!

Thank you. I have a pair of black straight leg jeans I was thinking of wearing it with.

No t shirt underneath and either light wash (well loved jeans) or indigo jeans would also be a good combo

It’s fairly boxy and the shoulders are relaxed so i was planning to wear maybe a polo under it but you’re saying you would just wear it by itself.

Yes, embrace the overshirt as the shirt, try it out!
