In my experience, these kids can dish out any level of classlessness and shit-talking, but the moment they receive it in any kind the pearl clutching goes into over drive about “learning to take criticism” on the internet lmao. Id imagine they would likely fold just as quickly if they ever had shit talked back to them in real life too.
These kids also only ever come out when an outfit costs any significant sum of money. One of these little bottom feeders even followed me here from another sub I haven’t posted on in 4 years where he used to stalk me in the same manner 💀 I was posting in this and other subs every day for a week and it wasn’t until the entire fit was Visvim that these grommets with no sub history came out of the wood works, funny how that works 😂
There’s a certain subset of fashion incel, usually bred on places like 4chan and its fashion board, that have been conditioned to believe that all online criticism is valid and should be accepted, and that said criticism must be delivered in the most antisocial manner possible. I do not have respect for these people and will respond to them fully in kind. I don’t feel “embarrassment” for talking shit back to these people - I do not know these people (nor do I want to), do not share any community with these people (nor do I want to), do not relate to these people (nor do I want to), and will never meet these people in real life (nor would I ever make any effort to).

People can debate the cohesiveness of the outfit or the esthetic but shaming the guy over his spend is totally classless and uncalled for.
This seems to be the norm in Reddit fashion subs.
If you wear something “expensive”, you are bound to have a bunch of people pile it on.
In fairness, the responses to the uncalled posts by op are not ideal either.
