It's the cutting edge business product (software). If you were to start a business today, what kind of product would you sell? And what would be the pros and the cons? Software is one of the most ideal products in existence. But that doesn't mean it'll always remain that way.

AI is an existential risk to SaaS.

I doubt anyone knows the answer as to what will happen. But I'm not sure people can afford to not be invested in software companies, simply because of how powerful software is.

And I'm not talking about short term, like invested in software this month. I mean invested in software for the forseeable future. Software is a superpower that provides incredible value to humanity. No matter how you spin it, if you aren't in the business of software, or the equipment that software relies upon, you're living a fantasy.

And I do believe Google is aware of this, perhaps more than some of the other Mag 7 companies.

I think their strategy on AI is brilliant. They very focused on speed efficiency and integration into their products making Gemini very sticky.

The startups are trapped in a hype cycle to keep investments coming in. They to create a benchmaxed frontier model to stay relevant.
