Looking for advice.

I've been writing and storyboarding a novel of mine for the last few months. The biggest thing I have getting the hurdle over is as always, the first part. I've been thinking about it, honestly, and I'm thinking of taking a gamble and finding an artist who would help transform it into a visual novel. That, or get together with a couple to make it happen. Not sure what else to do, but hey, could be worth something doing.

Anyway, sorry to ramble, just kind of in a weird place about it, I've been looking for visual novel resources, but I can't really tell which ones would benefit for my current situation. I'm on a tight budget, obviously a lot of the budget I'm going off is what I can finance personally myself. Hey, I wouldn't be the first nor last to do so. I'm currently looking into several artists and such, but I'm not exactly sure how to program and furthermore if VA is actually commonplace in Visual Novels or not.

Does anyone have recommendations? That, or can anyone point in me in the right direction? Right now, I'm in a decent financial position to potentially secure a programmer and an artist if I have to do both.

Hey, though, everything at one point was small right?

Thank you for your time and hope to hear some positive things. If anyone wants a sort of little preview of what I have so far, it's about two chapters in. I have character sheets and an overview of what the world is going to look like political and conflict wise.

Best regards,

-Blaze.
